About these terms
These terms apply to the Therapy 24/7 website and to the online support services we provide. By booking a session you accept them.
Nature of our service
Therapy 24/7 provides online emotional and counselling support delivered by appropriately qualified professionals and support practitioners working within their scopes of practice. Our service is not an emergency service and it does not replace medical treatment, psychiatric care or hospital admission.
Emergencies
If you are in immediate danger, call 10111, go to your nearest emergency unit, or contact the Suicide Crisis Line on 0800 567 567.
Bookings and payment
A booking request is confirmed once our team replies to you. Payment is made by EFT bank transfer or by card using the secure link we send. Sessions are held at the agreed time and format.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give at least four hours notice if you need to cancel or move a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to be in a private space where you can speak safely, and to treat practitioners with respect. Recording a session without written consent is not permitted.
Age of consent
Clients under the age of eighteen require the consent of a parent or legal guardian before starting sessions.
Limitation of liability
We take reasonable care in delivering our services. To the extent permitted by law, Therapy 24/7 is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
